Sailing round Ibiza with children

Categories

Safe and fun coves

Cala Tarida, in the southwest of the island, is the cove where you will find most water activities, recommended for all ages and abilities: water-skiing, inflatables pulled along by a speedboat, paddleboarding and canoeing alone or as a group, etc.

Furthermore, a gentle breeze is usually blowing in this cove that allows you to windsurf round it, enjoying the landscape and the sensation of flying over the water.

But perhaps the star activity is snorkelling: fish, crustaceans and even octopuses and moray eels form part of the marine fauna to be found in the depths of this beach, and that will fascinate the little ones and arouse their exploring instinct.

Other beaches you can enjoy as a family include Las Salinas and Benirrás, where you can delight in a fantastic sunset.

Discover and develop skills

The experience of sailing generates situations that probably don’t occur every day within the family, which gives rise to unexpected and surprising scenarios and reactions.

Living together in a small environment strengthens ties between family members and requires everyone to respect each other’s space.

Sailing also involves teamwork, leadership skills, communication, looking after one another, responsibility, care of the environment, etc.

The emotions, memories and circumstances that arise on any sailing trip will guarantee a very special family bond.

Activities on disembarking

Once on land, the list of activities to do with children is unending: walking routes, pony-trekking, visits to special places and towns, the hippy markets, etc.

There are countless opportunities to have fun and learn and grow as people in Ibiza, that will help you enjoy unforgettable holidays.
